2008 was a vintage year for Critical and in 2009 we are showing no signs of letting up.

First up we have the first dedicated artist EP from Critical – the Poster Girl EP by Silent Witness. Silent Witness is one of drum andbass’ unsung heroes with a slew of releases on classic labels. 4tracks of slick future tech. Out Feb

Following this is a single from Spectrasoul. These 2 have been working hard in their underground lair coming up with special treats over the past few months. We released Alibi last year to huge acclaim and the track became a true underground anthem. For this release we have asked the beat master Break to remix Alibi, and on the flip we have the 2 step grimy funk of Organiser. A killer single.

Lastly we have some big news. Sabre has been consistently releasing truly forward thinking drum and bass for some time now. So it is with great pleasure we can announce that Sabre is working on an album project for Critical. It promises to be an exciting document of originality and vision. Expect an equally engaging packaging concept and format to go alongside. There will be a single in May with the album following in Autumn 2009.
