VALVE SUMMER SLAM

Having sat back a little over the past couple of years 2009 sees the welcome return of Dillinja and Lemonde to the frontlines, two of D&B’s longest serving and most accomplished artists.

First up the Valve crew are extremely excited to announce a new residency at one of London’s hottest venues; Indigo at the O2. In a time that’s recently seen some of the city’s favourite nightspots closing this will be a real boost for the London and UK clubbing scene. Of course the legendary Valve Sound System will be in full effect (there are even rumours of it becoming
bigger!!) with the best DJs ready to rinse it to the max. The Summer Slam will raise the bar with production second to none and they’ll even be dishing out downloadable coded cards in conjunction with DnB Arena containing exclusive Valve based media from unreleased tracks to real tones and screen savers….all for free!

On May 23rd the first night features Dillinja & Lemonde, Goldie, DJ Hype, Shy FX, DJ Friction, Clipz, DJ Die, N-Type and Hatcha with MC’s Dynamite, SP, Shabba, Skibadee, Rage, IC3 and Crazy D. The VIP room two will be a mix of house, electro and more of an ‘anything goes’ music policy to offer a little respite from the darn right rowdy room one! Keep up to date by checking the press and www.thesummerslam.com.

You can also expect to see the guys back on the record store racks in the next few months with a host of dance floor smashers lined up for release on Valve Recordings including ‘Dead By Dawn’, ‘Love Child’ and ‘Shiners’. If you’ve been out over the past few months you won’t have failed to hear these causing havoc on your local club speakers.

What’s more is these singles will serve as a taster to the even more appetite wetting prospect of a new Dillinja & Lemonde album which has been scheduled for a release towards the end of 2009. Word is that it’s almost finished with merely the last minute touches being added so watch this space.

Finally the launch of the new Valve website is imminent so soon you can keep checking in with www.valverecordings.com to find out the latest from two of dance music’s hardest working foot
soldiers.
