The millenium had come and gone and drum & bass was about to enter its most explosive period of international growth. Seminal club Movement were responsible for hunting down and bringing DJ Marky from Sao Paulo to London and the bookings flooded in for the turntable wizard. He brought his overseas brand of mixing and enthusiasm to what was an insular UK scene and frankly drum & bass hasn’t looked back since.
